In October of 1984, my wife, Christine, and I were ordained by the Holy Spirit and led to the town of Ridge, NY which was an unchurched area, to start a work for the Lord. By faith and with just a small handful of people, we sat around our dining room table and I gave the first Bible Study of the Church.
There are four basic Biblical principles mentioned in Acts 2:42 that inspired me the most in the start of this ministry, they are as follows:
1. "And they (the disciples) continued steadfastly in the Apostles Doctrine." (the study of God's Word). 2. Fellowship (sharing an intimate bond) 3. In the Breaking of the Bread (Communion) 4. In Prayers
Taking faithful heed to this Scripture, we never looked back and stayed on course to where we are today.
As you hear His truths from the Bible, there is the assurance according to your faith, that these truths can bring you salvation. True salvation can bring you to brand new freedoms that you have never discovered before. If you listen and accept His Truth, you can find freedom from guilt, depression, anxiety, and fear. He can heal you from a broken heart and never feel loneliness again. Jesus offers you a sound mind and he will give you a peace and love that will pass all of your understanding.
